December 3rd – December 7th, 2018

  • Santa Shop is Thursday, December 6th from 1:55 – 2:20pm; please make sure all students have money to shop and the envelope filled out BEFORE they shop. Parents will not be called the day of to bring money for shopping.
  • Also collecting for Toys for Tots
  • Holiday Party, Thursday December 20th 1-2:30pm; additional sign up genius will be sent this week
  • New Homework begins in the next few weeks, please look out for it!

    Genre: Non-Fiction

    Stories: Fun with Maps, North, East, South, West, and Which Way on the Map?

    Phonics: Words with ch, -tch, wh, ph

    Structural Analysis: Inflectional Endings -es

    Writing: Reindeer Informational Writing!
    Ideas: capital letters and periods

    Stations: We continue Literature stations this week.

    whip, whale, catch, match, chin, graph, shop, with, many, around, what, so, see, not, were

    Book Bags: Please have your child read them for a week and return them on Tuesdays.

    We will be working on subtraction. We will continue working on Dream Box and eSpark. Students will also work in stations.

  • If work is not being completed in school, it will be sent home for homework. This work will have a HW or Homework listed at the top. Please complete it and return to school the next day.
  • Assigned Homework will be given nightly or weekly. Please see notes on each assignment.

    Two healthy snacks and a water bottle must be sent in everyday. Fruit, vegetables, and protein bars are a great choice. We are a Peanut/Tree Nut free classroom.
